Second Update...

After I came quite close to lossing my NaNo novel I realized how little I cared. And I was honestly half hoping I wouldn't get it back so I didn't have to continue. That and I have finally realized MY hobbie: dancing.

So I've decided that I should quit NaNo and concentrate on the up and coming jazz and ballet exams. Wish me luck with them!! I'm aiming for Commeneded at minimum for both.

See ya'll!

First NaNo Update!

Well, here's the NaNo goss, I mean this is the dump for it, right?

Day 1: FAILED! Only wrote 978... D: had two tests to finished that day, so hence why.
Day 2: EPICED! Wrote 1749, so I had extra words to share around to yesturday.
Day 3: EPICED! Wrote 1765!! Wrote out side in the lovely, sunnie weather. :)
Day 4: FAILED! 51 That was truely awful. I didn't finish school quick enough and I had ballet.
Day 5: So far I have written 848 words and I only started writting around an hour ago or less. Hopefully I can keep it up even though I have jazz today. And something has SC (spontaneously combusted). Well it didn't really combust, but the computer did over heat and catch on fire. :D

Hope all those who are doing NaNo are doing better then I am. By the way, total word coutn stands at 5386.

3 Years!

Yes, this day three years ago (23 of October) I had a moment of genius and created this blog. Since then it has helped me to win NaNo once (and hopefully again this year) during my sparing updates, became a part writing prompt blog and has just all-round been awesome.

I'm inviting every body who read this post to comment just to see how many people actually read this. (Feel free to link to your own blogger blogs in the comments, I need some interesting things to read!)

For the celebration should I:
A) Change the blog skin
B) Give my blog an image banner
C) Give my blog a description for under the banner
D) All three

Comment your opinion!

And so procrastination starts!

Yes, would you believe? It's not even November yet and already I'm getting distracted. I should really have at least the two main character's bios done, but I've remembered about all the fun games I have on my laptop! yay...

Apart from that, things are going well because I really can't wait start. It so helps when you adopt an opening line and you can spend the whole of October thinking about all the fun things you could do with it.

I've adopted a few things excluding plot and title. I still cannot for the life of me come up with a decent title and none of the adoptable ones fit. I came up with a really good one last night, but as luck with have it I don't remember it. :(

Comment if you have an title suggestions please!! No matter how bad you might think they are.

Prompt #2: Fantasy Nature
Descrip: In world building I tended to use a lot of things which already existed on earth, rather then creating my own. For example there would always be grass, rock, tress and water exactly how they appeared on earth. Try and mix nature up a bit. Search through Google images for exciting new plants and then mix them together to create your fantasy tree.

NaNo is nearly here! And so is my brithday

Our first story is that NaNoWriMo is just around the corner. Well, it's the month before it anyway. I've made the file for my NaNo, now I just have to flesh out the characters abit, and the plot.

At first I was going to write a fantasy, but I had a last minute change of heart. Readin this my story arcives I found a little jem:

After finding a gossip magazine labeled 2009, Amy finds an inscripted message on how to prevent the death of Mr. Pa. Amy finds him living in an amazing mansion with his singal daughter about Amy's age. He is lving off the profits of his best seeling 3 part book series, and his less successful 2 part series. Without knowing the reason he needs to live till 2009 and having never red his triligy. Amy Adam's might have just stepped into a lot more then she bargened for.

Still, I don't why Amy has to save Mr. Pa from being killed, but that will work itself out.

Next story. I braved up and read the opening scenes of last years novel! I REALLY enjoyed it, suprisingly. Though I pretty much only read the section of my NaNo that I wrote during the honeymoon period, but stress sets in and writting turns bad. But really, the first writting I did on it and brilliant, I hope I can match that this year.

And last but not least, it's my birthday tommorrow! I'm turning 15. So comment and say happy birthday. :D

See ya soon.
(I'm crossing my fingers I will update every Saturday/Sunday of NaNo, or at least ocne a week anyway. But no promises.)

Prompts

I made a blog post a while ago (I think it was before NaNo 08) that I was going to start a prompts blog. That never eventuated because I lost interest in my prompting idea.

But I've decide that I will add a prompt to the bottom of every one of my blog posts. Which will hopefully mean I'll start updating weekly or bio-weekly because I HAVE something to update about. It won't be all the same things. It could be words, sentence, phrases, pictures, scene, characters and anything in between.

Email if you do write something from a prompt.

Prompt #1:
http://www.gdargaud.net/Antarctica/Life/SkuaCouple.jpg
Descrip: Two birds, or maybe is a bird monster with two heads and three legs. Maybe two birds are the only things left while a world wide bush fire rages in the distance. Maybe they're ninja birds, hence why they're all black. Or they could be turned into stone by an evil badie.

NaNoWriMo 2009

Well fokes! It's only just half way through the year (though that is more then half way to NaNo) and I've already got more plot ideas then you can poke a stick at. Though I've never understanded that saying because if there is heaps of ideas wouldn't it be easy to poke a stick at them? Anyway...

Teh Altehmet List of Plot Ideas for National Novel Writing Month 2009!

1: Beth and The Exumes! (I promise you, this is NOT the title. I sware... honest! I won't use it, please don't hang me! No noooo--)

2: Feonia/Various sequils unless I randomly decide to re-write a story for NaNo

3: Randomly generated (I'm really tempted just to randomly generate a plot on NaNo eve and give myself a day to flesh it out and then just write!)

4: Adopt a plot (Theres so many good plots I've saved long the way, I really should use some)

5: My fantasy story which I can not remember much about and will also be rewriting if I do decide to do it

Thats all I can think of right now... right now I'm leaning towards Beth and the Exumes of the Feonia one.

I gave out this link lots...

So I now feel the need to post. :D I always get that guilty nagging feeling when I give out the link.

Anyway, to be honest, I haven't been doing much writing these days. My chances of finishing a draft novel before NaNoWriMo are looking down. It all started when I lost interest in the novel I have picked to finish.

Right now I'm into role playing, I have one sit I joined like a month or a bit more ago. And one site that I just joined yesterday. And because of this role playing I've gotten into icon making. It's really fun and much much easier then I thought it would be. I'm still learning how to make nice black and white images and playing around with hues, lighting and saturation. It's hard to master, but like I said, it's fun.

I can't really think of what else to say, so see y'all! :)

Current Writting Project:

Most of my other writting projects has been pushed aside to make way for The Written Happenings. I must had said something about it in this blog before, if not check out my NaNo account and you will find out the plot of the story.

I set a goal on the NaNo forum to be finished this story (40-50k words) before NaNo starts again for this year so I must get typing. It's only up to around 8k and I've run out of plot. Well in away I have, the plot has only just started and I don't know where to go with it.

Side note: Last day of hoildays before I go back to school! (Discounting Saturday and Sunday because in the school term you have them off anyway.) Scary frankly, where have all the hoildays gone?

Generated Story Idea

Okay, okay I sware this is the last blog spot today! :) But I had a lot of writtting news banked up and I ddin't want to make one HUGE post.

Heres the plot: The story is about a scribe, a college professor and a smart sailor. It takes place in a bakery in a large city. The story ends with an inheritance. A powerful magical weapon plays an important role.

---

Clearly there is NO WAY I could end a story with somebody receiving an inheritance, so I'll have to alter this idea a bit. Also rather then a backery, I came up with this story set on a boat.

Anyway, I also generated the bios for the sailer, the collage professor and the main character (and some locations in the story). But I haven't touched the scribe just yet.

I'm in the process of writting all my ideas down into Buzzword so I don't loose them/inspiration for this story. So see ya!

On a side note: I joined Twitter, finally, and I really enjoy it so I doubt you'll want to follow me! ;)

Tarnie in the Library

Well, I just randomly started writting the other day (look at the post before this for more details) and came up with a whole new story idea. Here is a snip of it for you readers:

Tarnie found herself where she had found herself at that time, three o'clock, for the last three days, at 27 Ash Groove three streets away from where she wanted to be. Where she truly wanted to be was at her home with her brown and white gerbil in his wired in play aquitment where she could what him for hours and never get bored.

The reason why Tarnie had found herself at that very house for five hours of her day right after school finished was this, her mother was a budding interior designer. And rather then taking sensible hours that didn't make her have to work over dinner she had decided to spend every waking hour at the house which she liked to call 'just the break I needed.' By break clearly not meaning a rest, or as the Collens New English Dictionary put it; 'to stop for a rest.' Which in the 1997 edition was the eighth meaning for the word break.

----

I really think this is some of the best writting I ahve done... in a while at least. It gets worse as I go along, so thats why you don't get to read everything that I have written.

Plently to update about!

I'm going to update a few times to day, first with some words I wrote on Dollie Diner.net:

Writting up date: I've put my NaNo on the shelf, maybe one day I will be brave enough to look back on it and possibly edit it and possibly let people read it (very doubtful) but right now I've started on a new story on Buzzword which is going along swimmingly. I'm yet to lose any ounce of the inspiration for it that I had at the beginning and I'm dying just to get back to it.

It's a differant style of writting to my normal which I am trying to keep up because it is better then my usual.

Also, heres so more writing on DOllie Diner.net about my NaNo result (Sorry to keep any reads in the dark for so long):

Anyway, for those of you who didn't notice (which shows how great a poster I was outside of November) I was away this November, and the better half of October, writing my NaNo which I am super proud to say reached 50k and I also ended my story, though I did stay up till 11:40 or something. So everything worked out really.
